Bauer & Raether Builders, Inc. has evolved through the years into one of the ten largest general contractors in Dane County, with a staff of nearly 70 full time employees, including some of the finest craftsmen and carpenters in the area. Dennis Bauer formed the original company in 1971, adding a partner in 1975 with Gerald Raether joining the firm. The company moved from primarily residential to commercial ventures in 1980, diversifying extensively in the ensuing years. In addition to providing General Contractor services encompassing negotiated, design/build, and plan/spec work, Bauer & Raether Builders has an excavating division, its own concrete operation, and a specialty cabinet and millwork shop on site. Bauer & Raether is dedicated to delivering the highest quality service for both renovation and new construction. We firmly believe in the concept of partnering with owners to incorporate the unique knowledge of their business and lifestyle into their building. With our knowledge and expertise, we help owners build what they truly desire.
